Pyrgi, a picturesque, small village 25 km south of the town
of Chios offers you the unforgettable view of deep red, delicious
tomatoes, which are hanging down from the house fronts and mature
in the sun. The inhabitants swear that just like this the aroma
can develop the best. Pyrgi is one of the fewer villages which
still stands as it was built. Narrow roads, numerous churches
as well as the unique black-white deco of the house facades,
